It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Lynne Marie McCullough after a brief illness. She was in her 73rd year.
Lynne was born in Richmond Hill, Ontario and was raised by her mother and grandmother. After graduating from high school, she was employed by IBM in Toronto as a data entry specialist for many years. She took early retirement from IBM and moved to Vernon, B.C. to be with her family.
In Vernon, Lynne was active in Sorority and the Red Hat ladies for many years. Her passions were collecting horse-themed figurines and artwork, and engaging in many kinds of crafting. She was highly skilled, knitting and crocheting many beautiful creations for family and friends. Over the years, Lynne loved her many pets, having a special fondness for chihuahuas.
Lynne was predeceased by her mother, Lillian Clarke, and her grandmother, Dorothy Clarke. She is survived by many cousins living in BC, Alberta and Ontario.
Remembrance in Lynne’s memory may be made to Diabetes Canada or any association of Guide Dogs for the Blind.
