Pamela Jeanne MabryVentura, CAPamela Jeanne Mabry, 73, died October 26 following a long illness. She was born in Santa Paula to Gladys and Frank Curry, the eldest of three daughters, and was raised by her mother and stepfather, Harris Moss. Pam grew up in Santa Paula and Saticoy, and graduated from Ventura High School in 1959. Pam married Jim Mabry in 1961, and they had three daughters. A lifelong fitness enthusiast, she taught "Fitness Over Forty" exercise classes through the Adult Education department of the Ventura Unified School District for more than 20 years. Pam loved the beach, her garden, and shopping for vintage collectibles.She was predeceased by her daughter Kara Mabry Olson and sister Kathy Sinasek. Survivors include her husband, sister Karen MacConell, cousin Carol Stafford, daughters Kristin Tranquada (Jim) and Kami Weeks, (Darryl), grandchildren Nicole Allen, Ashleigh Bailey, Sara Olson, Amanda Weeks, Trevor Weeks, and Alex Tranquada, and great grandson Ethan Price.A memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 3, at 10:00 a.m. at Santa Paula Cemetery.
