David C Becker

David Carl Becker, 75, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 14, 2010, following a long and courageous battle with cancer. Dave was born June 9, 1935 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, to Carl and Rhoda Becker.

Dave was a resident of Ventura County for 52 years. He was employed at Point Mugu Naval Air Station as an aircraft Maintenance mechanic, working for Raytheon Company, Dynalectron Corp. and Grumman Technical Services throughout his 40 year career. His biggest passion in life was ocean fishing where he spent as much time as he could and met and made many very good friends during his years of fishing. He also loved his trips to Laughlin with friends. Dave will be missed by many.

Dave is survived by his children, Timothy Becker of Ventura, James Becker of Wrightwood, and Brenda Becker of Oxnard; brother, Paul Becker of Loganville, Georgia; 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Buena Vista Hospice Care and Finest Living Guest Homes for their love and care.

There will be no memorial services held at Dave’s request. Donations may be made in Dave’s name to the Ventura County Salvation Army, 155 S. Oak St., Ventura, CA 93001.
