Yoshiko Iwamoto, affectionately known to family as “Yoyo”, age 95 of Vancouver BC, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2024.
Predeceased by husband Mitsuru (Jack) Iwamoto and son Kenji, and survived by son Robin (Kirtana) and grandson Yoshi of Chicago, IL, and daughters Patricia and Debra. Predeceased by parents Sutekichi and Ito Miyagawa, sister Kazuko and brother-in-law Raeso, sister Mitsuko and brother-in-law Isamu, and brother Michio. Survived by sister Toshiko, sister-in-law Haruye, and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a private family service on December 2, 2024 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Vancouver Buddhist Temple, 220 Jackson Avenue, Vancouver, BC. Lunch and refreshments to follow. Koden is respectfully declined.
