It is with great sadness we advise the passing of our dear elder Robert Kenneth Charles. Robert passed away surrounded by love of family at his home on Capilano IR # 5 in West Vancouver, BC on December 12, 2021. He was born July 31,1950 at Peace Arch Hospital to his late parents Kenneth Discon and Virginia Charles. He grew up in Semiahmoo First Nation (White Rock) & Mission IR No. 1, Squamish First Nation (North Vancouver). He attended Peace Arch Elementary School, and Earl Marriott Secondary School. Robert worked for the BC packers Industry at the cannery. He loved music, especially the Doors, casinos, playing cribbage, and 10,000 dice. He supported the families that lost a loved one and stayed with their loved one over night. Taking great care in respecting their loss and praying for a safe journey home.
Robert will be dearly missed by his loving children Kingsley Robert Baker (Christie), Adrian William Baker; special daughters Laurie Anne Denice Baker, Charlotte Tracy Baker; grandchildren Anya Mae Warren-Baker, Nadia June Baker, Jade Ann-Marie Baker, Jewels Nora Holly Baker, Riley Rebatliati, Cody Rebatliati, Kiomee Baker, Shaka Baker, Brock Schneider, Brooke Schneider; brother Anthony ‘Tony’ Discon and many loving family and friends
