Raymond Edward Boucher

It is with heavy hearts and fond memories that we announce the passing of Raymond Edward Boucher on September 18, 2017 at the age of 57. Raymond is lovingly remembered by Nina; his mother Edith; his brothers Johnny, Howard, Marcel (Tom), Louie (Rosemary), Rene and sisters Theresa, Edie (Larry), Wanina, Jean (Manny), Judy (Dave), Patti (Karl) and Yvonne (Jason). He was a loving father to Delia (Cliff), Camille (Bobby), Tomasina, Naomi, Seth, Ray and grandfather to 11 grandchildren and great-grandfather to 1 great-grandchild. He is survived by his Aunt Evelyn, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family. Raymond was predeceased by his father Adrien and daughter Shannon.

Raymond will be remembered for his kindness and giving nature as well as being a hardworking and fun loving guy. He held a special place in the hearts of all the family and friends that were blessed enough to be a part of his life.

The family raises their hands in gratitude to all of Ray’s caregivers: the paramedics, the amazing ICU staff at St Paul’s Hospital; the Cultural Advisors/Helpers; and to all of our friends and family for all your support and contributions.

A Memorial Service will be held for Raymond on Tuesday October 03, 2017 at 11:00 am at First Memorial Funeral Services, 602 Kingsway, Vancouver, BC. A reception will be held following the service at The Cambrian Hall, 215 East 17th Avenue, Vancouver, BC
