Constantine (Costa) Fotiou passed away unexpectedly on August 12, 2022 at the age of 86. Costa was born on October 10, 1935 to parents Demetrios Fotiou and Eleni (Petsetas) Fotiou in the village of Sykea Greece, just outside of Elasona Greece. He married Zoi Fotiou in September 1960 at Randosithia Greece before moving to Vancouver BC soon after, where they started their lives together. Costa was employed as a welder, primarily building ships and ferries. Costa is survived by his 2 children, Helen and Demetrios, and 4 grandchildren, Zachary, Amanda, Kosta and Maria.
Prayers will be held on Monday, August 22, 2022 at 7:00 pm at St. George's Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 4500 Arbutus Street, Vancouver, where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 23rd at 11:00 am. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Burnaby.
