Anita Gie Yin Ng

Mom's life was a testament to her fierce determination and zest for living life on her terms. She defied conventions and blazed her own trail, inspiring all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In keeping with her wishes, mom's farewell will be as unique as she was. She sought freedom from the constraints of traditional funerals and services. Instead, her ashes will be lovingly transported to her final resting place at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Toronto, where she will continue to enjoy the serenity she cherished in life.

Mom leaves behind a legacy of love, independence and will forever remain in our hearts as a shining example of an indomitable spirit who lived life to the fullest.

We invite friends and family to join us in cherishing her memory in their own special way.

我們懷著沉痛的心情，告知各位我們敬愛的母親，祖母，曾祖母，吳佳燕 (Anita Ng)已於2023年9月27日於溫哥華在家人視像陪伴下，安詳離世。享年87歲。

媽媽雖與卵巢癌症鬥爭多年，但仍然保持她樂觀性格，過她喜愛自由和獨立的生活，激勵了所有有幸認識她的人。媽媽臨終前囑咐大家不要傷心，她能活到87歲，已經非常感恩。

鑑於媽媽生前叮囑後事不需要受制於任何傳統束縛，無須舉行喪禮，安排要一切從簡。她的骨灰將安葬於多倫多聖十字天主教墓園，作為她的最後安息地。

請各朋友和家人私下里為她禱告，靜靜緬懷她。

願她永遠安息。
