William Dempsey Lewis, 73, of Mulberry, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021 in Fort Smith. He was born October 18, 1947 in Luxora, Arkansas to Joseph and Letha Lewis. He worked in masonry construction. He was preceded in death by a son, Dempsey Wayne Lewis; and a brother, Kim Lewis.
He is survived by four sisters, Loretta Raleigh of Mulberry, Juanell Glotzbach of Maryland, and Deborah Wilson and Lora Brake, both of Mulberry; five brothers, Donnie Lewis of Van Buren, David Lewis of Mulberry, Kirksey Lewis of Van Buren, and Kent Lewis and Andrew Lewis, both of Mulberry; a grandson, Wayne Allen Lewis; and two great-granddaughters, Emily Peraza and Addison Dunn.
Family-hosted graveside memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Oak Bower Cemetery in Mulberry. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
