Richard was an avid outdoorsman with his love for piloting, skydiving and rock climbing. He enjoyed running marathons with his children and most of all loved watching Halie and Jake play sports. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Earnest Wade of Dardanelle; and a grandmother, Dimple Jennen Gadd of Van Buren.
He is survived by his wife, Dava Jennen; a daughter, Halie Jennen; and a son, Jacob Jennen, all of the home; his parents, Charles and Linda Jennen; and a sister, Cheryl Johns, all of Van Buren; and a brother, David Jennen of Lithia, Florida.
Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Chapel in Van Buren. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
