Richard Dale Groves, 73, of Van Buren, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2017 in Van Buren. He was born February 8, 1944 in Fort Smith. He was Assembly of God faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest and Gladys English Groves; sister, Cherry Robison and brother, Billy Joe Groves.
He is survived by three sisters, Brenda Thomas of Rudy, AR, Joyce Clark of Van Buren, Janice Groves of Van Buren and a brother, Earnest “Shorty” Groves Jr. of Van Buren.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 24, 2017 at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
The family will visit with friends from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
