Mary Ruth Jackson

Mary Ruth Jackson, 90, of Mulberry, passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2021 in Fort Smith. She was born May 4, 1931 in Mulberry to the late Gene and Minna Will (Turner) Walker. She was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray H. Jackson; and two brothers, Bobby and Jimmy Walker.

She is survived by four daughters, Vicki Jackson of Mulberry, Chris Fendley of Lawrenceville, GA, Doris Riddle of Van Buren, and Tracy Suter of Fort Smith; eleven grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 4, 2021 at First Baptist Church Mulberry with a private committal at the Fort Smith National Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

Pallbearers will be Jason Roe, Wesley Roe, Colby Roe, Josh Fendley, Ryan Fendley, and Kale Sheets.

The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 3, 2021 at First Baptist Church Mulberry, 453 Church Ave, Mulberry, AR.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Gideons International at P.O. Box 1751, Van Buren, AR 72957; or to the Music Department at First Baptist Church Mulberry.
