Mary Ann Barker, 86, of Mulberry, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2023 in Fort Smith. She was born November 29, 1936 in Overton, TX to the late Norman and Marjorie (Elliott) Wilcox. She was retired from Walmart.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Barker; a son, Kenneth Barker; and a sister, Norma Mojica.
She is survived by a daughter, Pamela McDonald of Alma; a sister, Glenda Pannell and husband Isaac of Hot Springs; two brothers, Don Wilcox and wife Janice and John Wilcox and wife Dee Ann, all of Mulberry; four grandchildren, Tiffany Mendoza of Charleston, SC, Teresa Sheen of Alma, Tanya Armagost of Van Buren, and Tasha Armstrong of Alma; and eight great-grandchildren, Lorena and Zander Mendoza, Fantasia and Jamie Sheen, Mackensie and Josiah Armagost, and Scarlett and Ember Armstrong.
Graveside service will 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 28, 2023 at New Cemetery in Mulberry, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, April 27, 2023, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
