Mr. Larry G. Tanner, 54, of Van Buren, died Saturday, November 19, 2011 in a local hospital. He was the retired owner and operator of Tanner Roofing in Van Buren, attended the Kibler Assembly of God Church, and had also served in the Army National Guard.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, November 23, 2011, in Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel, with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.
He is survived by his lifelong friend Emma Tanner, a daughter Sabrina Brumley and her husband Mark of Alma, AR, 2 sisters; Janice Slusher and her husband Jim of Van Buren, Judy Joyce of Kibler, AR, a brother Gary Tanner of El Dorado, AR, and 4 grandchildren; Rayvn Brumley, Mark “Bubba” Brumley, Jr., Sara Brumley, and Ranger Brumley.
Pallbearers will be Michael Slusher, David Joyce, Greg Coons, Mark Brumley, Jr., Kenny Goodwin, and Mark Brumley.
The family will visit with friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
