Johnny Lee “John” Wells, 73, of Van Buren, passed away Friday, January 20, 2023 at his home. He was born November 12, 1949 in Fort Smith to the late Charles and Imogene (Stallings) Wells. He was retired from Whirlpool, and was a CPA for Dardy and Lowe.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Jane Maynard.
He is survived by his wife, Terri Oneita Wells of the home; two sons, John Charles Wells and wife Carolyn of Lowell, and Bryan Keith Benn of Korea; a sister, Deborah Schnirring of Van Buren; a brother, Ricky Wells and wife Linda of Fort Smith; and three grandchildren, John Brody Wells, Harper Catherine Wells, and Hayden Caroline Wells.
Memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
