John “Jack” Crosson, 84, of Van Buren, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2024 in Fayetteville. He was born April 15, 1940 in Denver, CO to the late Bill and Norma (Daniel) Crosson. He was a retired bus driver and maintenance worker for the Van Buren School District. He participated in the Cooperative Farmland Program; was the owner/operator of Mug ‘n Jug in Van Buren; and was a sales agent for National Life. Jack loved driving the Van Buren teams to games.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Crosson; and a son, Jeff Crosson.
He is survived by two sons, Kevin Crosson of Fayetteville, and Brad Crosson and wife Teresa of Conway; a daughter-in-law, Debbie Crosson of Oklahoma City; a sister, Cheryl Butcher and husband Stan of Cheraw, CO; a brother, Frank Crosson and wife Barbara of Colorado Springs; six grandchildren, Amanda Crosson, Audrey Morrow (Christopher), Hillary Biggerstaff (Ben), Heidi Crosson, Stephen Crosson (Kelsey), and Tyler Crosson (Macy); and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 29, 2024 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Gracelawn Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Stephen Crosson, Tyler Crosson, Christopher Morrow, Rick Stickler, Toby Rogers, and Jerry Friddle. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Clopton, Arlis Needham, Roy Moomey, Kenny Trent, and Maurice Hubbs.
The family will visit with friends from 9:30 a.m. until the funeral hour, Monday, April 29, 2024, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
