Jacob Mitchell Wallace, 13, of Van Buren, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2022 at his home. He was born September 29, 2009 in Fort Smith. He attended Cedarville Middle School and was on the football and basketball teams. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Mike McLane.
He is survived by his parents, Molly McLane (Brian Osmundson) of Cabot, and Teddy Wallace of the home; a sister, Kaitlyn Mills of Van Buren; two brothers, Kaleb Wallace of Van Buren, and Wyatt Osmundson of Cabot; his grandparents, Kim and Tim Dyre of Dover; Deedra Dehart of Ozark, and Donald Wallace Jr. of Van Buren; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 20, 2022 at Bethlehem Free Will Baptist Church with interment to follow at Gill Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Kaleb Wallace, Jackie Wallace, Ranze McDonnor, Tristan McDonnor, Chris Vaughn, and Brian Osmundson. Honorary pallbearers will be Odin Witte, Levi Witte and the Cedarville Junior High Football Team.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
