Albert “Al” R. Musgrove, 87, of Van Buren, Arkansas, died Friday, March 5, 2010 in a local hospital. He was born April 17, 1922 in Keifer, Oklahoma to Charles and Alice Musgrove. He was a retired copper miner and served during WWII in the U.S. Navy.
Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with burial at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife of sixty-three years, Daisy Musgrove of the home; one daughter, Janice L. Drybread of Van Buren; two sons, Charles E. Musgrove of Princeton, Kentucky, and Virgil L. Musgrove of Poteau, Oklahoma; two brothers, Charles Musgrove of Carthage, Missouri and Kenneth Musgrove of Lamar, Missouri; seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Dale Drybread, Jason Musgrove, Charles Jones, David Musgrove, Eddie Musgrove and Fred Drybread.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Hwy, Van Buren, AR.
