Warren was born on March 5, 1956, in Englewood, New Jersey, to Helen and Frank Rovegno. He was their sixth child. At a very early age it became apparent that he was a “special child.” His parents cared for him with amazing love and patience. He lived at home in Bergenfield, New Jersey.
He spent his young life attending day programs in New Jersey and spent summers in a special program that was directed by his sister Elaine. For several summers, he attended Camp Rainbow with his sister Carol. At the age of 44, Warren moved with his parents to Upland, California, and lived with his sister Carol and brother-in-law James. He attended Inland Adult Developmental Center in Rancho Cucamonga for 24 years.
As a child his main interest was toy cars and as he grew older, he loved using his pan and broom. Eventually, he became interested in collecting business cards, of which he had thousands. He loved to spend time in the pool shooting baskets with James. His greatest joy was participating as a member of the American Legion Riders, (road name was BIKER). He loved riding or just hanging with “the guys” at the Legion.
He is survived by five siblings, James (Maureen), Elaine, (Albert), Jeanne (Bill), Carol (James), and Kim (Rusty). He loved his 29 nieces and nephews and 28 great nieces and nephews.
Warren was a member of St. Anthony Parish in Upland, where he often attended special services.
