Patricia Ann Lambert

Patricia was born on May 13, 1938 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Marion Roerich Murphy and William Murphy. She married her beloved husband, Denis Lambert in 1959. The couple had known each other for years, having attended the same grade school and neighboring parochial high schools. Patricia graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1960 as a Registered Nurse.

After the couple moved to Claremont, California in 1971, Patricia worked as a nurse for many years at Pomona Valley Hospital. They were long-time residents of the Claremont/Upland area and Patricia worked as an RN with Pomona Valley Hospital for many years. Patricia and Denis were active members of both Our Lady of Assumption Catholic church in Claremont and St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Upland. Patricia had a wide circle of friends, a kind heart towards all and enjoyed volunteer work at the neighborhood thrift store after retiring from nursing. Patricia and Denis enjoyed traveling the world, often cruising, and especially spending time with their daughter, son-in-law, and their two granddaughters.

Patricia was predeceased by her daughter, Laurie Lambert Nix, in 2015 and her husband, Denis, in 2016. She is survived by and will be greatly missed by her granddaughters, Caitlin and Calleigh Nix, son-in-law, Royce Nix, and many cousins and friends. A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church on July 7, 2023 at 10:30 a.m.
