He is survived by wife of 45 years Sandy Rudder, daughter Lisa Ferri, son Scott Banks, daughter Deanna Banks, and five grandchildren. Larry was born on July 8, 1942, in a small town in southeastern Ohio, as the second child of Lawrence and Margaret Rudder. His brother Jim, who was 15 years his senior, preceded him in death. While working at Kaiser, he attended college in the evenings and graduated with an accounting degree from Redlands University. Following Kaiser, he worked for Inland Empire Utilities Agency and retired from the position of Chief Financial Officer in 2004. Larry met his wife in Ohio; they were introduced by his brother Jim and his wife Carol. Sandy moved to California and Sandy and Larry were married on December 27, 1974. Larry will be remembered by all for his great care for others. He was devoted to his family, his fellow employees, and his friends. Due to Covid 19, celebration of life services will be postponed.
