In her youth, Yolanda and her family relocated to Los Angeles, California where she went on to attend college in San Diego with a dream to become a lawyer, but changed her plans when she made a deal to join the military with her cousin.
That deal turned into a 35 year career. She met her husband, Donnie Bradham, on the first day of the Air Force. According to him, it was love at first sight. According to her, it was a different story. Whatever it was, she said yes to their first date on that first day, and yes on their wedding day. She said yes until her heavenly accent on September 14, 2022.
She is survived by her husband whom she met on that faithful day, her son Michael Bradham, and her daughter Myisha Bradham. Her grandchildren, MaKayla, Michael Jamaal Jr., and Maliyah Bradham. Her sister, Zella, along with her beloved nephews and nieces, uncles and cousins, and friends both near and far.
She was a comforter, guiding light, and words of wisdom for many, and now she is at peace with The Comforter. May her love, light, and wisdom carry on her legacy.
