Michael Dennis Fromm, age 67, of Selma, Texas passed away peacefully on Tuesday March 20, 2018 after a bravely fought battle with cancer. His son, Michael Fromm, Jr. and Michael Jr's wife, Kelly were by his side.
A funeral service for Michael will be held Thursday, April 12, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at St Monica's Catholic Church, 501 North St., Converse, TX 78109. Following the funeral service will be a committal service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Ft Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach, San Antonio, TX 78209.
Michael served his country in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years and then continued to work for the Air Force in a civil service position for another 19 years.
He is survived by his mother, Monica F. Grant of Taylorville, IL; sister, Monica Richards of Decatur, IL; son, Michael D. Fromm, Jr. of Selma, TX; and daughter, Nicole Krebs currently of Altus, OK. Also surviving Michael are his grandchildren Brittany Clausen (and great grandchildren Audrey Mae Clausen and Hendrik Clausen), Garett Black, Grace Black, Geena Black, Michael Dennis Fromm, III, and Rain Nicole Fromm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to American Cancer Society.
