Ofelia worked for the Air Force for over 50 years. One of her proudest moments was graduating from night school with her Bachelor’s degree. Mary was a very kind and giving person. She loved to donate to help others.
Mary is preceded in death by her mother, Carmen De La Fuente; sister, Irene Martinez; and granddaughter, Caiden Rayne Pogue. Those left to carry on her memory are her daughters, Bridget Marie Paul and Kimberly Rae Pogue; sisters, Francis Montes, Gladys Morales, and Carmen Ocejo; granddaughter, Alexandra M. Whitfield, and grandson, Rhys Pogue.
A visitation for Mary will be held Tuesday, August 20, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Colonial Funeral Home, 625 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, TX 78148. A rosary will occur Tuesday, August 20, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM, 625 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, TX 78148. A prayer service will occur Wednesday, August 21, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM, 625 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, TX 78148. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, August 21, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Archdiocese of San Antonio - Holy Cross Cemetery, 17501 Nacogdoches Rd, San Antonio, TX 78266.
