Judith W. Barthold of Converse Texas passed away at the age of 65 on August 2, 2010. Judith was born in Plattsburgh, New York on April 6, 1945 to Gene G. and Laurina Baughn Ward. She is preceded in death by her parents, and son Stephen Tompkins. Survived by her husband of 23 years, Melvin Barthold; daughter, Shannon Rangel (Tompkins); sons, Sean Tompkins, Kevin Barthold, and Ronald Barthold; Sisters, Valdene Staples (Ward), Nancy Ward, and Tracey DeGroodt (Ward); Brother, Gene Ward, Jr.; 17 Grand children, and 1Great Grandchild. Funeral Services will be held at Colonial Funeral Home on Thursday, August 5, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers please make any donations to the American Cancer Society.
