Josefa P. Ramirez

On April 2, 2022, Josefa P. Ramirez fell asleep in the Lord and awoke to new life in Heaven. She was born in New Braunfels, Texas on March 19, 1949 to Sebastiana Gallegos, the second of Sebastiana’s twelve children. She married Roger Ramirez on November 6, 1966. They had three daughters: Belinda, Tracy, and Cindy Jo. Josefa was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of the Guadalupana Society at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Selma, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Sebastiana Gallegos, her sister Beatrice, her husband Roger, and her youngest daughter Cindy Jo.

She is survived by her daughters Belinda and Tracy, her granddaughter Celina, her siblings Jesus Perez, Jose Gallegos Jr., Fransisco Gallegos, Antonio (Quene) Gallegos, Henriqueta (Queta) Martinez, Natalia Dailey, Dalia Llanas, Cristina Medrano, Michael Gallegos, and Marcos Gallegos, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Monday, April 18th, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with a Rosary at 7:00 pm at Colonial Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 19th at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help.
