Dorothy Louise Miller

She is preceded in death by her husband Rodney Richard “Red” Miller, and is survived by her sons Roger Miller (Oxnard, CA), Rodney Miller II “Rick” his wife Donna (The Villages, FL), and Russell Miller (Hastings, NE). Her grandchildren Chelsea Miller (Live Oak, TX), Randee (Kyle) Piepmeyer (OH), Rickie Miller (VA), Sabrina Miller (NE) and Austin Miller (NE) and one great grandchild Nora Rae Piepmeyer (OH).

Dorothy lived a wonderful and lively life traveling to foreign countries as a military spouse and worked 47 years in San Antonio as an AVON representative and avid owner “Hoarder ;)” of AVON. She is well known for her beef and noodles a family favorite required at every visit and a tradition to be continued by her granddaughter Chelsea. She will be missed by all her loved ones and by her little four legged nurse Andromeda “Andie”.

A visitation for Dorothy will be held from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM with the funeral service to begin at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Colonial Funeral Home, 625 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, TX 78148. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 PM at Sunset Memorial Park Crematory, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218.
