Donald Webster Meador Jr.

Donald W. Meador, Jr., age 88 of Lawrenceville, Georgia, formerly of Converse, Texas passed away on October 7, 2024. He was born in Hinton, West Virginia December 31, 1935 to Donald and Maycle Meador, Sr.

Donald proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1958-1978. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree as well as an Associates of Science in Animal Technology. He loved going on cruises with his wife, Gabrielle Meador, his family, John Wayne, and America.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Maycle Meador; his wife, Gabrielle (Brumaghin) Meador and his daughter, Donna (Meador) Wilham.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his daughters, Karen Meador of Georgia and Valerie (Meador) Carlson of Oregon; his son, David C. Dalton of Pennsylvania; sister, Linda (Meador) Harold of Ohio; 8 grandchildren, Denise (Hoover) Sharpe, Tara Carlson, Joshua Ward, Ashlie (Carlson) Machado, Kelsey Messinger, Christa (Carlson) Encke, Kilee (Wilham) Bragdon and Jacob Wilham; 13 great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Kelsey Messinger, Marvin Carlson, David Wilham, Joshua Ward, Jacob Wilham and Michael Cowin.

A visitation for Donald will be held from 5:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 11:00a.m. Wednesday, October 30, 2024 also at Colonial Funeral Home, 625 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, TX 78148. Committal service will follow at 1:00p.m. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209.
