Born on March 21, 1938, Dixie Ann (Matchett) Simmons the 10th child of Edwin and Cora Matchett of Hale, MO. a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend went to be with her daughter Debra Ellen and our Lord and Savior on November 12, 2011 at the age of 73. She is survived by her children Connie Raye Hack, Las Vegas, NV; Robert Leroy Simmons, Jr., San Antonio, TX; William Edwin Simmons, Corpus Christi, TX; Peggy Ann Clark, Converse, TX and her 9 grand children and 6 great grand children also survived by her sisters Ellen Koch, Everett, WA and Mary Farris, Sunnyside, WA also of Seattle, WA and brother Richard Matchett of High Springs, FL and many other nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed and always loved. A celebration of life for Dixie Simmons is scheduled for Thursday November 17, 2011 10:00am at Colonial Funeral Home located at 625 Kitty Hawk Rd.
