Col. Charles A. Lysaght, U.S. AirForce, Ret., passed away on November 10, 2014 at the age of 87. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Isabelle (Cormiea) Lysaght, wife Rose Lysaght; brothers Marshall, Richard, James, William, Thomas and John Lysaght; sisters, Sister Mary Blanche and Marie. He is survived by his wife Florence Lysaght; children, Cynthia Wallace (husband Richard), Charles Lysaght, Jr. (wife Greer), Gregory Lysaght (wife Pamela), Michael Lysaght (wife Kathryn);step-children, Michelle Aguilar (husband Moses), Richard Glass (wife Tammy), Wade Glass; 18 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and sister Lillian Sehe (Charles). Col. Lysaght served 33 years in the Air Force serving during WW II, Korea and Vietnam. He also served as the mayor of Windcrest. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Colonial Funeral Home from 5:00 to 8:00 pm with a Rosary recited at 7:00 pm. The funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help at 10:00 am. Interment with military honors will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
