Betty Cele Gardner

Betty lived a beautiful life! She graduated from Providence High School in 1961. She then went to Southwest Texas State University earning herself a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics. After earning her degree she began working as a teacher, a librarian, then devoted 20 years in food services for Judson ISD where she retired in 2008. She was a faithful woman devoting her time to the Lord. She was in the St. Ann Society at Our Lady of Perpetual Help and also helped clean the church.

Betty is survived by her children Betty Ann Huckobey, William Odell Gardner (Barbara), Vince Edward Gardner (Daveanna), Kristine Lee Gilland (Hugh), and Sean Anthony Gardner; her grandchildren Johnny Huckobey, Cory Gardner, Megan Gardner, Jacob Gilland, Donna Gilland, Audrey Gilland, William Gardner Jr., Kaye Gardner, Emma Gardner, April Gardner, and Sean Gardner II; her brother Michael Ernest Hopper. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Gardner; her mother, Cecilia E. Hopper and her father, William O. Hopper Jr.; her brother, William O. Hopper III.
