Thomas James Duffy, age 29, of Union, NJ, passed away suddenly, at home, on Friday, May 27, 2016. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. Thomas graduated from Union High School in 2005 and was a member of the Union Wrestling Club since age 5. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps and completed a tour of duty in the Middle East including Afghanistan. He loved Saturday morning cartoons, Bob Dylan and history. He is survived by his parents, Thomas and Claudina Duffy, sisters Rachael, Elizabeth, Catherine and her husband Scott Weisel, and niece Josephine and nephew Benjamin. Thomas is also survived by many uncles, aunts and cousins, who loved him as a son and a brother. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, June 1 from 4pm-8pm at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Avenue Union, NJ. A Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, June 2 at 10:15am at St. Michael’s Church, 1212 Kelly Street, Union, NJ.
