She was born on September 2nd, 1960, in Manila, of the Philippines, to her adoring parents Jose Sartaguda and Angelica Sevilleno. During Nancy's younger years, she attended St. Anthony School. She was a choir member and cheer dancer. She excelled academically by making the Dean's List. She then graduated from St. Paul College in Manila to become a registered nurse; a career she continued to flourish in. As a registered nurse, Nancy selflessly served her community at Mt. Sinai Hospital of New York for over 30 years.
Nancy enjoyed watching TV shows and movies. She's a big fan of Sharon Cuneta, with many of her favorite songs sung by her. She also enjoyed shopping whenever there were sales in order to send items to the Philippines for her family. She also enjoyed playing Mahjong, sometimes playing with just one other player in what traditionally is a four-player game.
She is predeceased by her loving husband, Alfonso Tanseco, and leaves behind her three loving sons, Sigmund, Jerome, Travis Tanseco; and, her cherished daughter, Camille Tanseco. She will also be dearly missed by her only grandchild Steven, her two daughters-in-law Regene and Norleah, and her siblings Priscilla, Nicholas, Maria Lourdes, and Liza.
A memorial service for Nancy will be held November 2nd, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave, Union, NJ 07083. Cremation will occur privately.
