Maria Chavez, age 82, of the Bronx, New York, has passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024.
She was born on April 8, 1942 in Montecristi, Ecuador to her mother, Maria Chavez , and father, Joaquin Chavez. She settled in the United States in 1968 and has resided with her family ever since.
Maria graduated from City University of Guayaquil. She worked as a registered nurse before dedicating herself to accounting for 20 years. She enjoyed spending time with her nephews and family.
Maria leaves behind her brother, Isaac Chavez, and her nephews, Kenneth Ubillus, Dennis Ubillus and Xavier Chavez as well as her grand nephew and grand niece, Stephanie Ubillus and Carlos Ubillus.
