Janet Lois Myles Barker

Janet Myles Barker of Berkeley Heights, NJ, passed away peacefully on Tuesday December 11, 2018, at the age of 75. Janet was born August 1, 1943 in Newark NJ to the late William M. and Frances E. Myles. She was the eldest of three children; her loving brother William Martin Myles 'Marty' preceded her in passing. Janet was a kind and loving mother, an intelligent and artistic woman, and was a gentle soul who only spoke well of others. Janet is survived by her devoted sister Loretta and husband Sheldon Wallerstein, her daughter Bonnie and husband Jerry Nezlick, daughter Nancy, and her daughter Jennifer and husband Ernst Brand. Janet also leaves behind three cherished grandchildren Karl, Lauren and Jack and her loving niece and nephews, Thomas, Tammy, Todd, and Jonathan. A visitation will be held at McCracken Funeral Home 1500 Morris Avenue Union, NJ, on Thursday December 13, 2018 from 4-8 PM. The interment will take place at Washingtonville Cemetery Washingtonville, NY, on Friday December 14, 2018 at 1PM.
