Gladys San Antonio

Gladys San Antonio, 79, of Elizabeth, N.J., passed away peacefully on Friday, Oct. 14, 2016. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael Church, 1212 Kelly St., Union, N.J., on Friday, Oct. 21, at 10:15 a.m. Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery in Linden, N.J. The family will receive their friends at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave., Union, on Thursday, Oct. 20, from 4 to 8 p.m. Gladys was a supervisor with the First Fidelity Bank in Newark, N.J., for 35 years before retiring in 2003. She was a longtime member of St. Mary Church in Elizabeth, N.J., the Liberty Senior Center, and the Senior Group of St. Anthony of Padua Church, also in Elizabeth. Gladys was a kind and loving women who was, for many years, the family caregiver, taking care of her mother and husband. She was predeceased by her loving mother, Catalina Mercado, and beloved husband, Hiram San Antonio. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Diana San Antonio and her husband, Thomas Sedillo; her cherished grandchildren, John Carlo and Danielle Angeline Sedillo, and her dear brother, David and his wife, Susan Laracuenta. She was the loving aunt of Jason and his wife, Dawn Steinert, Kate Laracuenta, David John Laracuenta, and Michael Laracuenta, and great-aunt of Olivia, Sophia, Cameron, David, and Andrew.
