George Stoyanov Successful businessman and entrepreneur, devoted member of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, 76 George Stoyanov, 76, of Woodbridge, N.J., passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, May 30, 2015. A funeral service will be held at St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, 654 South Broad St., Elizabeth, N.J., on Thursday, June 4, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Rosehill Cemetery Linden, N.J. The family will receive their friends at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave., Union, N.J., on Wednesday, June 3, 2015, from 4 to 8 p.m. George was the epitome of the American dream. As a strapping young man, George came to America to seek opportunities for a better future. From 1959 to 1960, he assisted in the construction of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church in Elizabeth, N.J. He was an avid boxer and soccer "fudbal" player, but spent most of his life as a hardworking and successful businessman and entrepreneur, with a special interest in real estate. He was a deeply religious and a devoted member of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, and also attended the Serbian Church of Holy Ascension. George was always a proud Macedonian and "Big" Serb. He also loved music and dancing, and you could not keep him seated when he heard a kolo. His greatest pride and joy are his three beautiful children, Stefanie (Sanja), George and Tony. He was the beloved husband of the late Ana Stoyanov; devoted father of Stefanie Stoyanov and her husband, Jon Doman, George and his wife, Kristi Stoyanov, and Tony and his wife, Rachel Stoyanov, and loving grandfather of Michael, Mara and Matthew.
