George Schmidt

He was born on April 9, 1941, in Newark, New Jersey to the late Albert and Mary (nee Boyle) Schmidt.

George served his country proudly in the U.S. Marines Corp and New Jersey National Guard.

He enjoyed Fishing and Hunting along with attending his grandchildren’s sporting events. He was always a fixture on the field. But most importantly he enjoyed spending time with his family.

George was predeceased by his wife Barbara in 2019.

He is survived by his daughter Michele Schmidt, son George Schmidt and wife Marisa, his granddaughter Kayla and his 4 grandson’s, Aiden, Mason, Colton and Austin, along with his sister Helen and brother Robert Schmidt and wife Judith.

An entombment for George will be held on Friday, April 18, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Clover Leaf Memorial Park, US-1 & Rt 35, Woodbridge Township, NJ 07095.
