Teresa Vito

Teresa Vito, age 88, of Union City, New Jersey passed away surrounded by her children on Tuesday, February 14, 2023. She was born in Pignataro Maggiore, Italia and lived for many years in Union City where she was a devoted wife, mother and nonna.

Teresa was the beloved wife of the late Salvatore Vito. She was the devoted mother of Antonietta (Toni) Morgana and husband Charles, Tina Vito, Andrew Vito and wife Mary, and Salvatore Vito and wife Carmela. Teresa was the loving nonna of 11 grandchildren: Giuseppe Morgana an fiancee Angie, Maria Morgana, Teresa Morgana and fiancee Giuseppe, Andrew Vito, Isabella Vito, Daniella Vito, Michael Vito, Salvatore Vito, Matteo Vito, Julianna Frattarelli and Cristina Frattarelli. She was also the dear sister of Pasquale Vastano and wife Maria and the late Tina Licini. Dear brother in law Daniel Licini and Concetta Formicola. Teresa is loved by her many nieces and nephews both here and in Italy.

A visitation for Teresa will be held Friday, February 17, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Leber Funeral Home, 2000 Kennedy Blvd, Union City, NJ 07087. The funeral mass will be on Saturday, February 18, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St Anthony Church, 8th Street and Central Ave, Union City, NJ 01087. A committal service will follow at Fairview Mausoleum, 500 Fairview Ave, Fairview, NJ 07022.
