Under the blanket of a grey sky on Sunday, December 17th, 2023, our physical plane bid farewell to a soul of unmatched beauty and love, Nancy Roselvy Espinoza, aged 59. As the afternoon came to an end, she was encircled by the warmth and grace of her adoring children and family, a testament to the love she so generously gifted us all in her lifetime.
Born under a spring sun on May 7th, 1964, in the city of San Cristobal, Venezuela, Nancy was the cherished daughter of our angel Carmen Sofia Espinoza and Jose Francisco Pineda. The journey of life took her from the dynamic streets of Caracas, Venezuela to the welcoming immigrant communities of West New York, NJ, and Union City, creating a prism of bright memories and friendships along the way.
Nancy's essence and spirit will forever dance in the hearts of her beloved children, Jose Nicolas Silva, Nathalia Nager, and Elliott Nager, who basked daily in the light of her unwavering love and nurturing spirit.
Her legacy of kindness and gratitude continues to resonate through her siblings — Lucy, Francisco, Orlando, and Jeaneth Espinoza — and in the thousands of lives she touched across the globe with her immensely radiant heart and soul.
A celebration of Nancy’s remarkable life, a journey marked by love, resilience, and the beauty she brought into our world, will be held on Friday, December 22nd, from 4-9 PM at Leber Funeral Home, 2000 Kennedy Blvd, Union City, NJ. We invite all whose lives were graced by her presence to join us in a prayer service on Saturday, December 23rd, at 11 AM at St. Joseph of the Palisades Parish, 6401 Palisades Avenue, West New York, NJ, to honor a woman whose spirit was as boundless as the expanses of the universe itself and as profound as the endless seas, which she loved so fondly.
In her departure, Nancy leaves behind not just memories, but a legacy of love and strength that will continue to inspire and guide us.
She taught us the beauty of a simple smile, the power in gentle words, and the importance of an open heart. As we gather to remember her, let us celebrate the gift of her life, and carry her light forward in our own paths.
