JoAnn & I had a special relationship.  We were not cousins but our families since we were kids were like family. So we called each other cousins . I miss her contagious laugh.  She helped me through terrible times in my life when she was suffering.  Miss her so much. Jesus please take good care of her. 🙏🙏🙏♥️♥️♥️Love Mary

To JoAnn's family and friends, I want to express my deepest condolences to you and know that my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. JoAnn was one of the first people I encountered at Stevens that had an immediate positive impact on me. As an intimated Freshman, JoAnn was a warm, friendly and calming presence who I had the pleasure of regularly chatting with for four years in Schaefer Gym when going to basketball practice and picking up my work study check. She always kept her desk decorated so nicely and I loved chatting with her about her weekend activities, favorite TV shows and what brought her the most joy on her face, her grandchildren. She was a true light within the Stevens Athletics community and I will always be grateful for and remember JoAnn's kindness and friendliness who deeply cared about the Stevens Athletics community. Rest in Peace JoAnn.

My Condolences to the Cicchine Family:  JoAnn was the Kindest, Cheerful and Absolutely Wonderful person who created me when I first started working at Stevens Institute of Technology.  I also had the pleasure to share a cab with her many times and was present for when she decided to retire from Stevens.  I am completely shocked, and she will be Terribly Missed.  Thank you JoAnn for Always bringing Cheer and Joy to everyone who you greeted and needed your joy to make it through the day.  Watch over us and May you Rest In Peace.

Dear Danielle and family members:

My heart is heavy for you at this difficult time. Know that I am with you in thought. Letting go is never easy, but just know that Mom is not gone, she has been raised up. Absent from the flesh present with the Lord. The Lord  is holding u tightly Danielle. He has caught every tear that has fallen. Always know Mom will forever be in your heart. Many are here to support you and be with you at this tender moment. God bless all of you. JoAnn was one of the first people I met at Stevens. She welcomed me with a warm smile and, even as a young coach, I quickly recognized that JoAnn was an integral member of our Stevens Athletics family. 

She always had kind things to say and even bailed us out of some unique situations at the front desk :) Taking the time to meet some of families of our recruits when we may have been running a bit late... Always always always making Stevens feel like a loving and positively wonderful place to be. 

I will miss her so much. As will so many others.

I didn’t work with JoAnne very long but when I did, she was positive, happy and kind. She was an absolute pleasure to be around. She’s also being laid to rest at the same cemetery as my dad. God Bless and watch over Joanne and her family. She loved her grandchildren ❤️

I am smiling now thinking of her humor behind her health in later
