Anne E. Abrahamsen

Anne Abrahamsen 89, of Toms River passed away peacefully on 12/25/15. She was born in Brooklyn NY, raised in North Bergen, retired to Toms River, NJ and lived last 3 years in Bridgeway Senior Care, Hillsborough NJ.

She was the beloved wife of Arthur Abrahamsen who died in 1999. She was the devoted mother of; Heidi and William Abrahamsen of Simsbury CT,

Linda and Peter Abrahamsen of Manalapan NJ and Pamela and John Pannucci of Belle Mead NJ. She is survived by her sister Joan Marquardt of Ringwood NJ. Anne was the loving grandmother of; Christine Grasso and her spouse Jason Grasso, Nicole Pannucci-Perry and her spouse Mark Perry, Julie Cornell and her spouse Ian Cornell, Lisa Bennett and her spouse John Bennett, Brian Abrahamsen, Kevin Abrahamsen and Patrick Abrahamsen. She was also the great grandmother of 3 Great grandchildren; Nathaniel Perry, Zachary Grasso and Grace Cornell.

While a housemaker and very dedicated mother, she also had part time positions to help the family through 3 college graduations. She had special fondness for seeing the family grow to 3 great grandchildren.

She was long time parishioner of St. Brigid's Catholic Church in North Bergen and avid lover of attending bingo.

The funeral will be on Tuesday 12/29/15 at 9:30am from the Leber Funeral Home then to Sts. Joseph and Michael Church where at 101:30am a mass will be offered. The interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. The visitation will be on Monday 12/28/15 from 3 to 8pm.
