His generosity knew no bounds and was outpaced only by his extraordinary intellect and curiosity. He loved to cook for his family and friends, especially if it meant laughing and sharing stories around the dinner table long after the ice cubes had melted in everyone’s drinks.
He loved to debate music, movies or the right way to move furniture through a narrow doorway.
Always a kid at heart, he loved collecting toy cars, cartoons, video games and hosting movie nights, so his daughters Isabella and Annabelle could spend time with their cousins.
His profession as a school psychologist allowed him to extend this same tenderness and thoughtfulness to the children of his community and his impact on their lives will be part of his legacy.
A devoted husband and father, he met the love of his life in high school and our family was blessed with his presence from that moment on. It is impossible to recount all the ways he enriched us with his infinite joy for life, but we will honor him by extending the same generosity he showed for us all the years we were lucky to have him.
A visitation for Abiezel will be held Monday, June 3, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Leber Funeral Home, 2000 Kennedy Blvd, Union City, NJ 07087. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, June 4, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Weehawken Cemetery, 4000 Bergen Turnpike, North Bergen, NJ 07047.
