It is with deep sadness, love and compassion that our loving mother, Karen M. (Ingemanson) Fox, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2023, surrounded by her family following a valiant battle with lung cancer.
Karen was the oldest daughter of Theodore and Catherine Ingemanson who predeceased her. Karen is survived by her devoted daughters Kim Baker and Kara Fox-LaRose and her sons-in-law, Kenneth W. Baker II and Heath “Golden Child” LaRose, who both held a very special place in her heart. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law Kathy and Doug Seaman, sister and brother-in-law Karla and Gerry King, brother Tommy Ingemanson and partner Frank Cirigliano, and brother and sister-in-law Teddy and Judy Ingemanson. She cherished and adored her grandchildren, Tiffany and Kenneth Baker and Marcello Dignoti as well as her nieces and nephews, Carolanne Braga, Janet Cummings, Randina Smith, Kassi and JD Seaman, Zachary King, TJ Ingemanson who predeceased her, Robert and Catherine Ingemanson, and many other family members that will forever love and miss her including a special relationship with Brenna Hagen.
Karen held many jobs over the years, but her greatest accomplishment of all was being a Mother and Nana. Her undeniable devotion to her family was the envy to many people. She was a talented seamstress, phenomenal caregiver, hard-worker, and a loving and kind person.
Services will be private for family and close friends on Thursday, June 15, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. graveside at Maplewood Cemetery, 184 Salem Turnpike, Norwich, CT 06360, where Karen will be to be laid to rest next to the love of her life, Jimmy Fox. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Hartford HealthCare at Home Hospice Care for the wonderful care of our Mother. In lieu of flowers, Karen was a supporter of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital if anyone would like to make a donation in her memory.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.montvillefuneralhome.com for the Fox family.
