Service for William "Cotton" Brulisauer Jr. of Flint will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday in the chapel of Lloyd James Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Hawbaker officiating. Burial will be in Tyler Memorial Park under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home.
Cotton was born at his home in Flint, Texas on October 5, 1928 to William Brulisauer Sr. and Sunshine McKay. Cotton went to be with his Lord and Savior October 3, 2017 at Trinity Mother Frances Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Cotton loved animals and he often contributed to the Humane Society and many other rescue organizations. Cotton was a member of the Flint Baptist Church and the Tyler Masonic Lodge No. 1233. Cotton worked for Trane for over 58 years retiring in 2016. Cotton and his wife Mary Lou Marshall Brulisauer celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on February 15, 2017.
His wife Mary preceded him in death on March 4, 2017. Cotton was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather and will be greatly missed by many other loving friends and relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Janet Brulisauer Craig in 2014 and grandson Tony Sessions in 2008.
He is survived by daughters Susan Sessions, Debra and husband Rick Miller all of Tyler, brother Warren Brulisauer of New Jersey, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday night from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Lloyd James Funeral home.
Pall bearers will be Deklan Miller, Derek Miller, Buck Eason, Mike Gibson, Chris Marshall, Tim Craig and Caleb Sessions.
