He was born in Dallas, TX on May 9, 1959.
He grew up in the Tyler area and graduated from Robert E Lee High School in 1977.
He was a welder for Centerpoint Energy for over 25 years. He loved hunting, fishing and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He always had a story to tell of days gone by and was most proud of his children and grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Helen McClendon.
He is survived by his wife, Shannon Green McClendon; son, Drew McClendon; daughter and son in law, Whitney and Erick Weesner; daughter, Rachel Shirey; son, Chase McClendon; grandson, Hayden Huckabee; granddaughter, Luna Weesner; brother and sister in law; Carl and Patti McClendon and sister, Deana McClendon.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 5th, 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Lloyd James Funeral Home in Tyler.
Funeral service held Thursday, April 6th at 2:00 pm, at Lloyd James Funeral Home.
