Ruby Davis Hunt

Mrs. Hunt was born March 31, 1918 to Goodluff and Sally Pennybaker Davis and passed away May 3, 2011. Mrs. Hunt was a homemaker and lived in Chandler since 1953. She was a member of Concord Baptist Church for 60 years.

She is survived by her children; Gene Graves of Burleson, Eugene Hunt and wife, Martha of Bullard, Olan Hunt of Tyler, Gerald Hunt of Flint, Douglas Hunt and wife, Zoila of Athens, Frieda Seibt and husband, Bill of Bedford, Wanda Baskin of Lindale, Billy Hunt and wife, Robin of Tyler, Danny Hunt and wife, Thelma of Tyler, Mary Rumbo and husband, Gerald of Ben Wheeler; 24 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; 10 great- great grandchildren; one sister, Jeanie Kines; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Wiley Hunt, two sisters and one brother.

Pallbearers will be grandsons; Adam Hunt, Wayne Hunt, John Graves, Jr., Bill Seibt Jr., Douglas Hunt, Jr. and Chad Hunt. Honorary pallbearer will be Michael Hunt.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm on Thursday evening at the funeral home.
