He was a graduate from Thomas Moore Prep-Marian in Hays, Kansas and served in the Army from 1953-1955 during the Korean Conflict. He was retired on April 1, 1998 from being a buyer for Bell Helicopter Textron. There was never a dull moment when he was around, and if you knew him, you'd know.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. He is survived by his wife, daughter, son, daughter-in-law, step-son, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a nephew.
A graveside service for Richard will be held Friday, December 13, 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home - Cemetery and Mausoleum, 12053 State Hwy 64, Tyler, TX 75704.
