Peggy Jean Garner

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Murrell Skeeters and his wife Maxine.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, Ralph Swain and Jack Garner; and granddaughter by marriage, Sherri Kay Causey.

She is survived by three children by marriage, Gail Causey, Shreveport, Louisiana, Pat and Mona Lee Garner, Searcy, Arkansas, and Mike and Linda Garner, Carthage; seven grandchildren, Phyllis Teague, Delta Richardson, Jill Grantham, Michael Garner, Andrew Garner, Bonnie Holeyfield, and Benjamin Garner; twelve great-grandchildren, Justin Youkey, Zane and Kelsey Grantham,Thomas, George and Ben Garner, Isabelle, Nathan and Claire Holeyfield, Jonathan and Hannah Garner, and Henry Garner.

Peggy worked for the Boy Scouts of America for 15 years and the Texas Department of Health for 15 years.

She and Jack were tour directors for five years with Kerrville Tours of Tyler, and were antique dealers and worked with estate sales.

She was a lifetime member of West Erwin Church of Christ in Tyler.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m., Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Lloyd James Funeral Home.

Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
