Mr. Roberts was born on March 22, 1937 in Texas to Price Graves and Victoria Hilbun Roberts and passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2017 in Tyler.
He was a resident of Tyler for 25 years. Mr. Roberts served in the U S Navy, was a switchman for the Cottonbelt Railroad and a member of the Catholic Church.
Survivors include his children Paul Roberts Jr of Salem, Oregon; Gail Finley of Tyler; James Roberts of Tennessee; Beverly Edwards of Texas; Mona Bankston of Florida; Liz Adams of Texas; Tony Finley of Texas; and Clifford Finley of Texas, numerous grandchildren and step-grandchildren.
Mr. Roberts was preceded in death by his first wife Florence Evelyn Roberts; and his second wife Rose Jane Roberts; son Anthony Eugene Roberts; step-daughter Donna Lee Harley; and grandson Jordan Finley.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Roberts, Paul W Roberts III, Mark Edwards, James Roberts, Tony Roberts, J.W. Roberts, Tony Finley and Scott Adams.
